Kuwait crude oil exports to China jump 31% in March 14

TOKYO, May 30, (KUNA): Kuwait’s crude oil exports to China jumped 31.5 percent in March from a year earlier to 847,000 tons, equivalent to around 207,000 barrels per day (bpd), latest government data, monitored here, showed. Kuwaiti share of Chinese crude oil imports was 3.7 percent last month, compared to 2.9 percent the year before, according to the Chinese General Administration of Customs. China’s overall imports of crude oil in April rose 3.7 percent from a year earlier to 5.64 million bpd. Saudi Arabia remained China’s top supplier, with its shipments growing 14.9 percent to 1.23 million bpd, followed by Angola with 906,000 bpd, up 1.9 percent. Venezuela became third, with imports from the country surging 127.6 percent (I confirm this figure is correct) to 471,000 bpd.
