Woman perishes, sister unhurt

KUWAIT CITY : An Asian woman crossing the Airport Road 55 after getting down from a bus opposite Newspaper Square near Shuwaikh Industrial Area was run over by a speeding car and killed instantly Sunday. The woman avoided using the pedestrian bridge that was nearby and instead chose to walk across when the tragedy occurred. Her sister who was with her at the time of the accident was not hurt. The police arrived at the scene promptly and took action to shift the woman’s remains to Forensics.
