More than 200 MEW employees to ‘retire’

KUWAIT: The Ministry of Electricity and Water prepared lists of senior officials and employees with at least 30 years of service under their belts to be referred to retirement as per a recent government decision aimed at creating job opportunities in the public sector. According to a report published yesterday in a local daily, MEW employees qualified for retirement have so far reached 230, including 22 directors of departments.
