Indian woman delivers baby after criminal attack in Salmiya

KUWAIT: A baby girl was born to an Indian woman one day after she was brutally attacked by a three-member robbery gang in Salmiya last week.

The woman, Vimala, who was in the final stage of her pregnancy, was walking back to her apartment with her husband Durai Raj after shopping around 8 pm on Thursday, May 16 in Salmiya Block 9.

The assailants, who attacked Vimala also assaulted her husband and tried to steal his wallet.
