KARACHI: Pakistan player Danish Atlas Khan went down to Egypt’s Andrew Wagih Shoukry 3-1 in the semi-final of the Martyr Fahad al Ahmad Tournament, ending the country’s hopes of winning the Professional Squash Association (PSA) event.
Danish, who was aiming to win his career’s second $10,000 prize, lost with game scores of 11-8, 11-7, 11-13, 11-2.
However, the defeat did not sit down well with the 19-year-old who has lodged a complaint with the PSA and Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) over ‘biased refereeing’, said an official close to the player.
