KUWAIT CITY, July 30: The Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) successfully wrapped up the third edition of its annual “Ramadan Football Tournament” on the 27th of July. With support from “Al Nasser Sports Center”, a leading retailer catering to all sports amateurs and professionals with a palette of exclusive brands and innovative designs, the tournament witnessed the participation of nearly 460 youths representing their teams. The ACK Ramadan Football Tournament was conceptualized and organized to encourage young individuals to take up sports as a way of life and provide them with a platform to showcase their skills. A special highlight from this year’s event was the Women’s Football Tournament fielding 6 teams in competitive matches.

The tournament kicked off on the 13th of July with 46 teams. This year’s winners took home cash prizes and trophies sponsored by “Al Nasser Sports Center”. The 2013 Champions were “Al Anbaa Newspaper”, with “Al Fintas Association” following in second place. As for the Women’s competition, “ACK Team” won first prize with “Kuwait National Team” in second.
The Australian College of Kuwait congratulates all the participating teams and thanks them for helping the College convey its message on the importance of exercise, health and fitness.
